There are four sections on the various application forms where you will show your education and work experience.

1.  You will list all education and schools attended (whether you got a degree or not) from secondary school on.

2.  You will list ALL work experience since age 18.

3.  You will list those jobs where you worked for a government at any level, if applicable

4.  You will list the jobs you have held in the last 10 years and their NOC codes and duties.

So you will be listing it all anyway.  Review the application forms carefully.

This is just my opinion - I'm not a lawyer and this isn't legal advice.  Please check other posts and especially the CIC website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index.asp - it's a great site.

I think they take care about the time you have spent in your job and Eductaion, which will influence your points.
It was better if your job is fulltime, since a master degree will earn the highest education score.

if were you working full time from 2002 to 2004 whille you were taking your masters degree ( working at least 37.5 hours a week ) then you can put in your experience from 2002 - up to the time you were working. still you only need 4 years to earn the full 21 points.

Dear all
I would like to know similar inquiry about this topic:

1- In order to gain all 21 points for work experience, is it needed that all 4 yrs work experience be under mentioned CIC eligible NOCs or just 1 yr of them is required?

2- Is it required work experience to match NOC degree qualification requirement?

Hope to hear your kind & immediate advice.
