please anyone let me know, if i have experience of 2 years in social work and 1 year in some other field which is not a part of NOC list but has ocurred in last 10 years will i get points calculated as 3 years or as 2 years.....

They will consider it 3 years... what you need is just one year in the nominated jobs

Its gonna be considered 2 years. Only the NOC that is in the list is elligible and will be assessed.
 @ ras782 how do you think its gonna be 3 years? Anyways, according to my understanding, experience in the NOC list is valid.

Yes, Devil is right.
According CIC the minimal work experience is 1 year, but the more experience in nominated job you have the more points you will get and here they calculate only jobs, NOC-listed. (In your case you'll receive 17 points, for 2 years)

You will get credit under your NOC for only two years..
I suggest u to go to CIC and calculate that do u qualify for the minimum 67 points, and then apply..

3 years will be considered for your overall work exp. Out of the 3 years you must have AT LEAST one year full time job in any one of the 29 listed NOCs. I am positive about that!!!

So in your case it will be 3 years overall exp.
