hi friends,
one of my friend got work permit application refusal due to this reason:-YOU ARE NOT IN POSSESSION OF VALID LABOUR MARKET OPINION FROM SERVICE CANADA
so plz tell me what is the reason behind it.
plz tell me the meaning about this reason

The reason explains itself. You need an LMO before you can get a visa. If you don't know what an LMO is, I don't know where to start. Google it. |

Maybe the LMO is not Valid or have already expired

6 months is the validity. You can check it if i'm not mistaken at the 3rd page. It's indicated in the LMO

so sir we have to submit the work permit application before the last date of that six month which is written on the lmo.what happens when lmo is submitted before expirey date but processing time exceeds the time of expiry date

That's ok. as long as you have submitted the WP application before the expiry date.

i have submitted my application for WP on 1st june now its more than one month and 10 days .how long more period they will take for my application.

Where in the same page... hehehe. I have submitted mine last June 25.. According to the processing time in the CIC website it would take approximately 8 weeks(2 months) if the documents they need is complete. After that would be the medical then another month for the visa. Where are you applying from? I'm applying in the Philippines.

It depends where in India your application is being processed. According to the CIC website, it varies from 1 month in New Delhi to 37 months in Chandigarh. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp/workers.asp |
