Could someone please give me some advice please.
I want to withdraw my application, it is not 'in process' yet. I have e-mailed CHC London but they never respond.
Do I need to write to them or just e-mail them my intention? Also do I get any of my processing fee and permanent residence fee back?
Thanks
Morning

You need to write them a letter with your signature on it and you also need to mention the reason why you withdrawing. You should get all the fees back I suppose. Thanks

My husband is going to sponser me. He is canadian. Do you think that will be a problem if I tell them that!
Just looking at the timelines it looks like I am not going to be in process for years. Plus we were not married when i applied under the federal skilled worker class.
Thanks for your quick response.

There won't be any problem. Just tell them the right reason why you withdrawing. Its ok if you weren't married when you applied. Thanks

I don't know how quickly Family Class works, but after watching Queencougar's progress in the post 26 June group (FSW2), surely you would be just as fast to keep on doing what you are doing if your application has already reached the VO. It is unfortunate that London is just SLOW. I am no expert on any of this, but would it be a good time to let them know you ARE married now and see if that nudges them into some action? Nurses are definitely in the NOC 29 list. What do others say?

@ Morning Pippin is right... however, why don't u hold-on to this one & move a separate FC application - and go with whichever concludes first? U may w/draw the other one later.

I too think the same way to reapply under the upcoming new catagory if I am qualified enough to apply and see which one wil get processed first. Also advise me if can I use the same fund which I used for my current application?
Thanks, Sans_May2010

Do you mean can you show the same Proof of Funds for both applications? Yes, the funds you show proof of would be the same ones you take to Canada no matter which application was accepted first. Or, do you mean the same bank draft for fees? You would have to provide a new bank draft.

Yes. But how does it matter vis-a-vis peace of mind?

Qorax: I would jump at the opportunity to double my chances of getting a visa quicker, but I wondered if morning's initial question about cancelling her first application was to save spending on two sets of fees. I was reading between the lines. Would be interesting to see what she says when she wakes up.

Thanks for all your advice.
My question to withdraw was because London states that the process on average for FSW is 13 months. My 2nd AOR letter states that if I have not heard anything after 8 months to contact them. Which I have done twice but no response. Nectar pus this post out.... Currently at CHC London, the highest priority is being given to post June 26, 2010 FSW PR applications which is followed by Fast Track (Post February 28, 2008 to June 25, 2010) FSW PR applications. My application was received 18th June 2010, so I see it that I am the last of the last.......so to speak!!!
I have looked at the time lines for the Spouse sponsorship and it seems a sure thing in comparison to the FSW. Some applicants have landed within 5 months of sending there forms (from London) I have already had my chest x-ray and having my medical next week. On the FSW I have seen folks who have had there medicals done in 2010 and still waiting for answers.
I still feel I should keep the FSW application going but paying 2 sets of fees is a bit much, also once it change's to in process I believe you can't get your fees back. I am in a bit of a dilemma.
Mentally all this is exhausting........
Morning.

Morning.
If you are doing medicals for your FAM application, then you have gone far. So it all depend on you no, whether to withdraw or not. Bu i think keeping the 2 is costly and you are right , when it goes to in process you can not be refunded. if you are doing medical then you can withdraw, wait for experts to confirm. Hope it helps.

Thanks Pippin I meant the proof of funds for both applications. Anyway thanks for your input. I am just waiting for the new list and hope I can qualify to apply next time. Just trying all possible ways to jump into CA. Sans_May2010 Do you mean can you show the same Proof of Funds for both applications?
