Does any one know how do I withdraw my application as a skilled worker immigration? Its showing 'In progress' in last 4 years and I need to withdraw my application diplomatically and most importantly how do I get my money back that I have been paying for last 4 years. Canadian high commission in London are not the most effcient people in the world (or they are probably just being Canadian) so everything they do are very slow and not very professional, often my e mails / letter gets unanswered etc. Is there a higher authority that I can write to above Canadian High commission in London UK?

No special way dude.... Just send an Application with your details and say I would like to withdraw my application. No reasons to be given. IF you received a letter (earlier) that asked you if you want to continue or withdraw your application, and if you wont fee wont be refunded. Then the Fee is Bye Bye.

I have withdrawn my earlier application filed before MI-1 came into existence. I have drafted a cover letter and send via e-mail, the duly signed, scanned copy of the same along with AOR received from VO and Application Fee Receipt. After a month, I got refund of my application fees and my e-cas changed to "Withdrawan".

ok i am in a state where they requested for 2nd medical, not because there was anything wrong with my first medical. its because it just expired despite of my numerous reminder they cant be bothered to deal with my application, they waited so that my medical expired so that i have to go for re med, and generate more revenue in process to help canadian economy!
so i am not sure i am entitled for refund. i have 3 months time window for the 2nd medical, shall i withdraw now or wait 3 months dont respond, and it will get withdrawn automatically.

i doubt it if u will be given any refund, if the embassy asked for your medical, it seems they must have started processing your case
