All glory to Almighty God the author and finisher of our faith!! Is there anything God can not do?The answer is absolutely nothing. This piece is just to encourage you all as it is very imperative to believe in the efficacies of prayers and not give kudos to any man for your success.

It was as if everything was going so slow and little did i know that God had plans in place for me. I did my medicals in August 2010 and there were series of delays before i got my PPR as i discovered that CHC deliberately slows down PPR process due to official quota reasons. I had to pray my way to breakthrough as right from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven has suffered violence, and the violent take it by force. The landing process was wonderful and the easiest i could ever imagine.

I really want to admonish those that panic unnecessarily not to panic but put their trust and faith in God. I read with amazement when people come here and post negative things about their landing experience and life in Canada but reverse has been the case for me as my bible says  when they went from nation to nation, and from one kingdom to another people,He suffered no man to do them wrong,he reproved kings for their sakes,Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm. I completed my landing in less than 20minutes and it was a chatting experience rather than the usual bureaucratic process.

On day 2 after landing, i got my SIN card, bank account done as well as drivers licence as i already have brothers and uncles here. No the less please be advised about the fact that who you mingle with when you land determines your level of achievement. PLEASE GUYS HAVE A CAN DO ATTITUDE AND NOT DECIDE TO SETTLE FOR JUST ANYTHING. What i have discovered is that if you are just interested in just any job, getting up the ladder will be difficult or might be impossible so please aim for the top and not think like a low leveled person. I am not aiming for just anything but big things and i can see it happening as the earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof.

Canada is a lovely place and a land of opportunities as i have seen. I have met a number of people who are really doing well in this land, what stops you and i from been part of them? People say its cold here but is our life and careers not more important after all some people were born and bred in this country. I can say the fact that i have uncles and brothers here has really helped me but to a great extent my bible says “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion” and i believe this is for us all. I have been a bit lazy because i am trying to adjust to the time difference between London and here, if not for that i believe by now i would have been invited for a job interview but i am leaving all until next week.

Please also understand that the fact that someone has been in Canada before you does not necessarily mean they know better than you as i had to even correct my banker about some banking process as he was oblivious of somethings. The key word in Canada is to be confident as you have a right that a Canadian have after landing the only difference is that you can not vote. I will continue my experience at a later date. This little piece is just to create awareness to you guys and encourage you that all things are possible for those who believe.

Dear Fernandez,

what an inspiring letter. I was one of the people you mention in your letter "panic unnecessarily". I applied for FSW1 in 2007, my mom lives in Canada for the past 4 years also being the last time i saw her. I was denied to go visit her in 2009 and 2010 due to my immigration process. I've been informed in 2007 that it would take 40months to process my application and today we are at 73 months (pretoria, South Africa).
I've been waiting for 3 years and now another 3 years. Understand my frustration if i'm loosing it with the CIC offices. My kids need their grandma who is currently the only living grand parent and myself and husband is not getting younger.

I'm also a very religious person and would like to think that God has a plan with us, what it is, i don't know, but i'm also human  and sometimes also have my doubts, please pray for me so that God can restore my fait.

Congratulations on your new life Cheesy

All glory to Almighty God the author and finisher of our faith!! Is there anything God can not do?.....

Sigh - is this an immigration forum or a mosque/church?HuhHuhHuhHuhHuh

If I started preaching my agnostic/aetheist views on here I would probably upset and offend a great deal of people if I started telling them how there is no god and they are all delluding themselves. Since I don't want to offend anyone, nor start a religious word-war on here, I am choosing to leave my beliefs about religion away from this forum. Is it too much to ask for others to do the same?

Please respect the multicultural nature of this forum and leave the religious preaching where it belongs.

Cappucino

If you do not want to read about peoples religious belief then skip the post, and stop trying to force people to live by your own beliefs.

No one is making you read these posts or forcing it down your throat, to the contrary you're the one trying to make everyone else live by your belief.  Everyone has a right to free speech and a right to religious belief.

Peace!!!

Annel, have you tried emailing them or calling them as you have a right to do. The problem is taht we are laid back atimes and i have read it somewhere that if you have not heard from them after the expected(official) processing time for your CHC office, you can contact them. Inbox me so we can talk better.

I am not trying to force anyone to live by my belief on religion which is why I don't MENTION those beliefs on a non-religious forum such as this. How the HELL am I "trying to make everyone else live by your belief", when you guys are the ones continually bringing religion into this forum, not me?

If everyone has a right to free speech would you say that I have a right to tell every single religious person on this forum how much they are delluding themselves? That there is no God and to just wake up and smell the coffee? THAT would be "trying to make everyone else live by your belief" IMO that would be deeply offensive to them and disrespectful to their religion, which is why I don't do it.

Bottom line is if I wanted to be preached to in this manner I'd get myself to a mosque or church.

Anyway, I won't disrespect anyone's religion but if truly mean that "Everyone has a right to free speech" then I have just as much right to voice why I think it's highly inappropriate on a forum like this.

"Clearly a loser" for wanting to come on a non-religious forum and NOT hear about religion?

I've had 149 positive ratings, which would indicate how much the general populus respects my opinions on the ON-TOPIC matters of this forum, which is obtaining a permanent residents visa in the Federal Skilled Worker class.

If you're going to be offensive by calling anyone who doesn't subscribe to your faith a "loser" then all you're achieving is to illustrate your own arrogance.

Thanks Fernandez. Very inspiring and touchy expression and its true All goes in our life according to the set plan of the Almighty provided we try with all our good and honest efforts and stick on till the end for something to achieve...However its been really difficult as a human being to follow always what we aught to!! Waiting for very uncertain and long period for something  is really difficult specially in this first pace of modern world where things can move and get changed just on a click of sec......when we can plan and organize every minutes and hours of our busy life on mobile organizer!! Unfortunately IMM processing backlogs takes many of our life planning on the contrary hanged with a prehistoric pace!!! So as an ordinary human being we sometimes have reason to get outburst  into our emotion with reasonable frustration!! However, we indeed forget all our long awaited pain and sufferings in twinkle of a sec the moment we get blessed with the expected visa to have back in faith to offer the gratitude of the GREAT LORD and ULTIMATE DECIDER!!

Amen, amen and amen!! ONLY God has in complete control of everything.. Without Him we are nothing.. I truly believe that our God is a living God thereby He hears our prayers and He sees the desire of our heart.

Cappuccino, i was not talking about been a loser due to religious reasons so don't be ignoramus about the fact of the situation. You have a right to your own opinions and i respect this but would not tolerate you chatting rubbish about my God as i am not one of those passive people. At any rate, if this thread does not conform with your beliefs, please excuse yourself as i never invited you here in the 1st place.

Cappucino

I am sure a lot of the people on here are well educated, including yourself, and would not try and impose on others.

Free speech allows us to voice our opinion and beliefs without telling others to keep their thoughts to themselves.  Whatever your belief is, I respect that and feel free to say it, BUT don't tell others what not to say or where they can/can't say it.

I respect your input in this forum and look forward to more of your posts.

Peace!
