I am British, currently living in UK with my American spouse. I am currently 5 years into a 10 year ban from the US for overstaying under the visa waiver program. We have no intentions of returning to the US in the foreseeable future, but would quite like a trip to Canada for a week to see the sights and possibly see my wifes parents (who would pop across the border to see us)

My question is will my overstay/ban in the us be known by the Canadian immigration officials when we land? If they do know about it, will they care? I plan on coming prepared, (tenancy agreement, letter from employer,) to try to allay any fears on their parts? Or am i worrying to much and should we just go?

Thanks!

Rick
