yes once they return you PP with visa stamp you get back your photo's n proofs like western union etc based on a friend of mine that went thru KGN

Pooh, thank you for your reply, there are some wedding photos that are originals, and I already sent the application. I would like my photos to be returned Grin

It depends on your visa office, actually.  Some offices, such as Buffalo, do not return items enclosed in application packages.

Very true, many people have nothing returned.

Yes - I think it depends on which office your files is being process through. We went through Buffalo and got zero back.

yes..it depends which office you are dealing with...some return nothing...they returned my photos, cards, letters, receipts, bank statements and i am not even done processing...they returned all this stuff 8 months into the processing of our case...

Buffalo returned all my photos when I went there in person for the visa.

I think it depends - the proofs we sent were basically all copies of original documents.  Our photos were printed from our computer, several to a page on printer paper, and were obviously not "original" photographs.  They weren't returned.  But it sounds like it's possible that things submitted as proofs that are obviously original documents or photographs are sometimes returned.  I think you should not assume they will be - if something you think you should submit as proof of your genuine relationship is something that is of value to you, photocopy it and send the copy.  If they need the original, they will ask for it. 

Check the document checklist - it tells you which specific documents have to be originals.  As a rule, everything else is okay to be photocopied or duplicated (as in my example).
