Hello everybody,

I applied in May, 2011 under NOC 0631. I got my first AOR on 10/6/2011 and 2nd AOR on 6th July, 2011.

My previous employer has given me experience certificate stating I worked as an acting supervisor explaining the duties and responsibilities which almost resembles 60% given in NOC 0631 but officially my designation was F & B assistant. Currently, I am working as an Restaurant Manager with my present employer.

My consultant has done a mistake while filling up the form. The job title with my current employer is mentioned correctly, but the job title for my previous experience has shown wrongly mentioning F & B supervisor instead of mentioning F & B assistant which actually was my designation though I had carried out the responsibilities as per given in NOC.

I am worried will I have any problems in case of verification with my previous employer owing to my designation.

I checked with my consultant, they say mostly I will not have any problems, if it would have been  I wouldn't have got my AOR approval, if the visa office doesn't want to consider my previous experience they may reduce my points. If my points are reduced still I stand with 69 points without taking into consideration my previous experience .

Forumites please suggest, will my case be successfull inspite of a small blunder made by my consultant .

Job duties/role/responsibilities matters......if they match with the NOC Code u have applied for then no need to worry....if NDVO gets any doubt regarding your Designation....they will send u letter to clarify...

Hi dreamer, please don't dream too much about your submitted application and get frustrated. Relax and wait for positive answers from visa office.  Cheesy
