If they refuse any application because it is not eligible under any one of the three categories, they will cash the money order at first, and then send only a letter by mail or email stating the reasons of rejection, and confirming the refund.

If they return the entire package back including your money order, because of the incompleteness (missing of any forms or blanks) or (filling the blank wrongly such as; Upto date, gaps between the dates on the background declaration....etc), they will not send you any letter by email or mail to inform you that you will get back the entire package, they will send back the entire package with a letter stating the reason and how to fix your mistakes to re send it again (this case is not a refusal).

hi Professional 1 got 1 question

I think I am prone to do mistakes in my form schedule 3 Economic Classes - FSW No. 11 Work Experience... I have mentioned my current experience (2 years NOC 0213), than preceding experience which was contract ( 3 months NOC 2173), than following work exp. I mentioned dates but forgot to tick the check box for no. of years exp....is that a serious issue??

Unfortunatly, yes, it is a big mistake, although they will know how many years of experience you have from your stated dates, but still you missed that blank empty (number of years). i remeber that someone has applied and wrote 111 NOC Code instead of 1111 and his entire package was sent back only because of that reason. they do not fill any blank which you leave empty even if it is an insignificant blank.

Re-fill that page of the application as soon as possible before they open your application and send it to them with an explanation letter, hopefully they receive it at the appropriate time and attach it to your application.

I know it looks wierd in the  CIO stage but at least give it a try since your application has just reached there on October, 28 and they take upto 70 days to respond, you still have a time before they open it.

Hi All,

Thank you for your explanation !. My concern is that I want to send them a new application, but I don't know if my application is returned or not. My application reached there in 1st September 2009 and am waiting for an email. While many Sep application already got their aor, while my case is no reply.

I applied under FSW3, but I cannot check my client id status until now. I have one more question  @ professional 1:

1. If they encashed my bank draft, it means that my application is not returned ? Is that correct?

Thanks a lot !

I'm in the same boat, I made a mistake and I'm waiting for application to get back to me.
I wonder how long time it will take till I got it back. Cause I eager to correct the form and send it back, I Already wasted two month and I'm waiting.

damn, I think I got wrong in this same question.

According to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG74.asp
"Visa Office requested for the processing of your application: Write the name of the Visa Office which serves:

•your country of nationality; or
•the country in which you are residing, provided that you have been lawfully admitted to that country for at least one year."

I got confused and add the name of the country Iam legally residing which is Canada. So I added Canada as the answer, that will means I´ll get my application return also, right?

If yes, what do you suggest me to do?.  My package got Sidney on Sept 28, that will means I have almost one month more to maybe do something to try to fix the mistake, what do you suggest to do?

Please let me know
