I am just curious about this issue because we will be moving out of the UK before our passport is being requested for. We are relocating to China and sending such documents (Passport) should not be a problem. However, I do not know if  the CIC London will be able to release our passport to a courier company who we will contact to go and collect the passport from CIC London and send it back to us or will they willingly send to us via courier or other safe way at our cost?
Please people/seniors shine a light on this issue.
Thanks.

How will you travel out of UK if your passports are with CHC London?

No, our passports are still with us. I am planing to send them as soon as they request for them. what I am asking is; will they send passports to us outside the UK on arrangements with them?

They would send your passports to wherever you would ask them to send. Coz everyone who has applied for canadian PR is not living in the same place (their visa office).
For example i am based in UAE and therefore once i'll get the request for passport. I'll courier them and they will return it after stamping visa......
I think it goes this way...............

HI

It's illegal to send passports across international borders.

1.  Only certain countries is it illegal, India is one.
2.  Most processing offices will not send passports with visas outside their processing area.  London is one that will.
