Hi,
I just discovered this forum, and believe me when I say I'm REALLY glad I found it!

My question is simple: Do I have to have my settlement funds in an account in an international bank (like HSBC, Citibank, etc) or will a federal credit union in the US do? Will the immigration official reviewing my case see that as a problem if my money is not in an int'l bank? The money will be in US$'s.

Thanks.

Your federal credit union will be fine.  Credit unions can wire money too.  They just usually have a contract with a bank to do it.
