Dear Razak,

Could you please tell us the education of your wife.

Whether you take her with you or not is nothing to do. If your wife is graudate then you can earn points for same.

Nothing to worry that you need  to carry her along with you. You can call them later on.

Regards

Hi

If you add your wife into application now you will get points for her education and below is the table showing the points for spouse qualification. If you dont add her now you are still short of 2 points, the options for you is to either re-sit IELTS and try to get 2 points from it if you have not already got 16/16 in language and other option is to add your wife if she is qualified or lastly get a job offer from Canada.

A. Spouse or common-law partner's level of education
 Secondary school (high school) diploma or less: 0 points
 A one-year diploma, trade certificate, apprenticeship, or university degree and at least 12 years of full-time or full-time equivalent studies: 3 points
 A diploma, trade certificate, apprenticeship, or university degree of two years or more and at least 14 years of full-time or full-time equivalent studies: 4 points
 A Master‟s degree or PhD and at least 17 years of full-time or full-time equivalent studies: 5 points

Cheers

Razak, you will get points for your spouse, if you apply togather or sponsor her after some years doen't matter but you will sure get points of her education, for 10+2+3 15years of education you get 4points, but for 10+2+3+2 etc total 17years education will awarded 5 points max.
I hope you understand.

Hi

If you are adding your wife and kid in the application then you need to pay $550 for wife and $150 for kid. And yes everyone needs to have a seperate passport.
