Hello,
My wife is canadian permanent resident but she has never lived in Canada apart from only few months (3-4 months). Her PR expires next year. She stays with me in the US and we are thinking of moving to Canada and getting settled there.

I would like to know if she can sponsor me at all though she lives outside of Canada? Or is it better if I start my own process and include my wife in my application?

What is better and which ones takes a shorter time?

Any advice is welcome.
Thanks.

If your wife has resided outside Canada for more than 3 years in the past 5, then she has lost her PR status and you will both have to apply.
