cic request me to get a passport of my newborn baby, but when i go to DFA philipines, they told me to submit my original passport. the problem is that my passport is in canadian embasy. do they allow me to withdraw my passport for me to get a passport for my baby:? and how long will it take for me to wait. pls advice thanks
Do you have an identification other than your passport? Have you reason out with the officers at DFA that your passport has already been submitted to the embassy?
Hmmm. Maybe you can write the Canadian Embassy and explain in your letter that DFA is asking for your Passport before you can apply for your baby's passport.
