Why there is Little/No activity at CIO & VO's

4-5 months to get the first AOR.  none of the Post June 26 applicants are getting the AORs

ecas still not updated for people who received first AORs in Sept/Oct.

2nd AOR is taking about a month (more than 2months at some VO).

Very few "I got visa today" kind of posts..

I think there is real slow down in processing. Does any body know why this is happening?

No idea about the other applicants, but if you check the post-June-26 thread you will see that they seem to have changed the process. There will be no AORs for post-June-26 candidates. CIC handle everything up until medical requests. So the first you hear will either be rejection or medical request, thus explaining the long delays people have been quoted before hearing something.

Wayne, Thanks for the response.

You may be right. The VO specific instructions are very confusing. At one place, they indicate that post June26 applicants will have to submit PCC to VO. At another place, they are asking Post June 26 applicants to send all docs to CIC.  Indicating that no processing will be done at VO.

For pre-june 26 applicants also the process might have changed. They may not send 2nd AOR by mail. I am not sure about this..

I have  sent my  application to  CIO along with all the required documents as per new rules and which was as per website of Fedex was delivered to CIO on 18-8-2010.

But I have not received any response for delivery of my application to CIO by CIO even after passage of at least two Months.
Is there any one who had submitted his application after 26-06-2010 and also has received any response for delivery of application from CIO.

Is there any other way to confirm that my application is under process in CIO.
