hi there guys, could u please help me regarding with the result of my medical.. I'm from philippines and I had my medical at makati city with dra.susana timbol-sanchez.. I have my med july 12 then they said that I have to call back after lunch by july 28..

after i called Ms.angel answered the phone then she told me my results are ok but ill have to wait again until august 3-6 because they haven't pass my medical results at the EMbassy..

so i called them earlier this morning to ask if they already forward my medical results, I talk to Ms. Ruth, she told me I have to come back to the hospital cause i nedd to undergo urine test again.. I was confused and i told her I called last july 28 and Ms. angel told me my results are already ok.. then suddenly Ms.ruth said that i dont have to undergo urine test again cause im under EFC or extended family..

why is that so?!? I asked her if its alright if i dont take urine test again and then she said its alright cause im under EFC..
thanks in advance for all your help...... im so damn stressed >.<

The DMPs and their staff are often confused about the medical exams. The different classes of immigrants require slightly different procedures, so I would not rely on much that the person answering the phone tells you.
What did she mean by you being extended family? Are you the principal applicant? If so, you should have gotten Copy 2 of the Medical Report-Section A, which you include in your application.

I'm just wondering wh she would tell me to take urine test again then suddenly she would tell again i dont have to retake.. Sad( i got angry but still i talk to her patiently, then she told me they will forward the results today.. do u know how many days would it take for the embassy to have the result? how can i know if they already got it?

So your husband has not sent in the application yet? If not, he includes copy 2 of the medical report - section A, which you have sent him.

Maybe the person who answered the phone first thought you were applying under some other class, in which case you actually have to 'pass' the medical. A spouse or common-law partner is excessive-demand exempt, which means even if you have a medical condition, you will not be refused on medical grounds. Since you won't be refused on medical grounds, maybe the doctor thought it was not worth investigating further.
