Just for my information i want to ask this question that
Why is Eligibility check done twice...CIO and Local CHC Huh
Is there any reason coz when CIO has approved the application then Local CHC should only verify all the proofs that we have claimed points for right ?
Any specific reason behind this ?

because i guess to CIO we don't send the complete docs...we just send them the application with our experience and qualification in the form..no full proof...they check everything at second stage and calculate the points....therefore i think it is done twice....

CIO assessment is just to weed out the applicantions that do not pass at first glance e.g. Not enough points, job not in approved 38 NoC List, has criminal charges to name a few. This initial assessment process allows for the visa office to process only eligible ones so that they do not have to deal with having to verify documents of ineligible applications.

It hasten the process in a way for visa office not to waste time in validating documents of ineligible applications.

Hope this helps (HTH)

Process was setup to reduce delays under the fast track system. At CIO, assessment is done as per the forms and at CHC assessment is done as per the forms and documents.

At CIO, an initial file is created just to reduce the work load. You can say CIO is the centralized processing center for all the initial applications.

1. Eligibility for processing is only assessed at CIO. It is purely followed by minesterial instruction.

2. At 2nd stage there is not any assesment of eligibility but the purity of your claim and Offcource point   assesment stage.
