I am still waiting for the AOR from CIO. So far, it has been 105 days

I dont even know if my application has been rejected.

Hi All can you pls help me I sent my application for FSW on the 04/09/09 and got there 14/09/2009.from uk plus my check. And have not heard anything since.I just joined this forum and I think it will be helpfil to me cos I dont know where to start from so please anyone can help me pls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

jbiyer1982, my guess is that CIO has certainly sent you an AOR, which has been misplaced. The time after your DD was cashed is really long now, people either got back their package (if incomplete) at the most by 20 days and an AOR at the most by 14 days after encashment. I would say persistently follow-up with both CIO Canada (whatever contact available) as well as your supposed local visa office. By this time, your case data should have transferred to local visa office and if you tell them of the problem, they should be willing to help you out.

I had contacted the local visa office via email and phone and get the response that they are yet to get any communication from the NS Office.

And NS Office, I am still to get in touch with them. Do you advise me to travel in person to the Newdelhi office and find out about my application? Will that help? Please advise.

Personally, I think that wouldn't help if New Delhi has already told that they haven't received anything from NS. I believe now you must get something out of NS only. If you have tried everything (from telephone to e-mail) for NS, you may try a few other routes - like ask a friend who is inside Canada to use the number for inside Canada and then enquire about your case. If he / she makes it through and CIC refuses saying that your case is an "outside Canada" just make your friend request that you have had no success and have no other means to find out. Maybe they would be able to tell the ways available for you. Seniors / VIP members can you suggest something?

ive been reading your posts and i think 105 days is something  because average time for NS application is usually 75 days.but to somehow lift ur spirit up, i have read several other posts in the past....

1. one applicant applied in May and got aor in October, youre still within the time span
2. one applicant, havent recvd aor for 5 months since NS application, suspected was wrongly sent in another email add, contacted local visa office and discovered he only got 60 days more out of the 120 days to submit all documents.Since you contacted ur local visa office already and gave you no response of having to recv your documents,im thingking that you are yet to rcv approval from NS
3. if they are to refuse ur papers, they should have informed u already

I have checked with the Bank through I sent the DD to the Royal Bank Of Canada ... Until last week they haven't en-cashed my DD... is that pretty normal coz I have sent my Application 21st of August ... received on 26th of August ....

I have tried to correspond my local Visa office Singapore by mail with my DD# and DOB.... they didn't even bother to send me an e-mail.... what should I do now?

I have after read somewhere that it take 3 working days to answer to some queries and there are some conditions as well. You should search on the forum how have people contacted the Local Visa Office in case of delays. Try calling the local visa office to check your status.

Good to hear from you. I have completed almost all documents and waiting for IELTS results. What was your result in IELTS ? Hopefully i will also submit it in the first week of December.

got 8 for  ielts.i took it 2nd time, my first expired after 2 years of waiting for my US application.Im a nurse thats why i have California application.wasted so much time waiting for America and end up entirely changing my plans and chose to apply for Canada.

Even I am waiting and my DD is not encashed as of today..and immigration minister said that they might gonna cut the immigrant numbers
