hi,
my name is manikandan and i sent my applications to Sydney, Nova Scotia office on july 31 and it reached there on 6th Aug.
the dd has not been encashed so far. Will update as soon as it gets encashed.
Other people who filed in Aug 2009, I request you to kindly share your details so that we can be well informed.

my app reached at NS by 14th July, have not received any response yet.. I can't check for DDs as have filed it through consultant.. and they already prepared by DD to receiver general of canada at the time of filing app..
so I am waiting for positive news.....hopefully..

I mailed my application package to CIO on Aug 21st. It is still in transit. Buffalo is the local visa office.

You may check with your consultant, I'm sure he will have the DD application receipt which will have all the information on the DD. |

Yeah rite. But checking if your DD has been encashed or not is another way you can satisfy yourself that something is happening with your application at CIC. jbiyer
but they mention that file no will be the only confirmation I will receive..
so may we share the categories under which we all filed? Please mention the respective NOC. Mine is 4131 |

My application reached Sydney on the 17th of August. Fingers crossed. Let's keep the spirit alive by constant update. I suspect that we may have to wait for around 12 weeks b4 response. Good luck to us all.

hi everyone,
thanks to all who have responded to this post.
i have read in other's posts that ones DD is encashed, we have to wait for at least 4-6 more weeks for the AOR and the 120 day letter.lets all just wait and pray....

I sent my application to NS on 27th July 2009 and it reached them on 30th July 2009 and i am also waiting for a reply. But so far, this is very day, no emails and no reply. Anyone knows how or when can we expect a reply from them? via email or other reponses?
