If you mean SE asians, eastern provinces got higher density of them. But if you are taking about "asians" (chinese for example as they are referred to as "ASIANS" while others have the direction/sector in front of the word), they are everywhere!

Dear Hasan,
I want some help from you.
I have applied to university of Calgary for MEng Electrical and Computer Engineering. My aggregate of
Bachelors of Engineering is 77% and my Toefl IBT score is 84. but i am refused admission.
While the admission minimum requirement by U calgary is 72%.
Can u please let me know what could be the actual reason of this.

Generally, students who get admission are well above the minimum requirement (like 85%+). Sometimes, when the quantity and quality of the applications are not that high or many students have rejected the offer, then the applicants with minimum reqs might get the admission. Alongside, later applications have lower priority too! In universities like UoT, McGill, uAlberta, uCalgary, UBC, (generally U15 universities), the applicants have much greater qualifications than the minimum requirement.

But you can overcome this barrier with job experience and (if possible) publications/research work.

And I am not sure about minimum requirement of TOEFL since I gave IELTS but in case of english proficiency exam, touching the minimum req is enough (higher is better does not apply for engineering when it comes to IELTS; I guess same is for TOEFL too).

lol, haha funny my God I really forget that. I do not know where my mind was flying at that time. I know Vancouver is on extreme west NOT in east, since I am also going to the University of British Columbia.

I mentioned Vancouver because of its high density population of South East Asians.

huge shame for me Smiley
