Hi there. My name is Fazal. I am a Pakistani national and currently residing in Saudi Arabia. I am applying for Canadian Immigration under Federal Skilled programme. I had some confusion about submitting my Educational documents. In the Instruction guide its mentioned as below: I am copy pasting for you.

6. EDUCATION/TRAINING/QUALIFICATIONS

For you and your spouse or common-law partner:

•Post-secondary education documents: vocational or technical certificates or diplomas;

•College or university documents: certification of completion and the graduation degree, diploma, or certificate issued by the college or university and the evaluation committee;

•Transcripts: original transcripts of all degrees must be submitted in university-sealed envelopes.

•Professional qualifications certificates: notarized professional qualifications certificates should be submitted if available. (e.g., Engineer, Computer Programmer, Accountant, Economist, Translator/Interpreter, Architect etc.)

I understood all but there is one confusion, do they require the degree as well with the original Transcript? If yes, should it also be sealed and original or copy? As about the transcript I know it must be sealed and original and I've it but my degree is not sealed, I opened it. If I only submit the Transcripts, will it be ok or should I submit the degree? Please guide me so that I can send back my degree to University to be sealed again. And secondly Do they only require Post secondary Documents I mean only Bachelors Degree not the High School? Some more things to ask. Its mentioned on website that all the Federal Skilled worker applications on or after 25th June 2010 should be sent to Nova Scotia, Sydney Canada and not the London office. Is that right? Should Ii send my application to Canada? and where can I find Instruction guide Appendix A. Is it London Visa Office Specific Instruction guide? Looking forward to hear from you soon.

Regards.

Fazal.

Try your luck. If you can get it sealed again, it's better, otherwise, try your luck. By all means, the VO will authenticate these papers.

Yes I second Mezo... Academic transcripts are meant to be in sealed envelope...Most of the university has the provision of issuing transcript in sealed envelope. VO's are sometimes very particular about it... There are member's in this forum shared to have been called in for interview to authenticate academic docs... So better to be specific in getting things right in order...Good luck

Well dear friends,

I confirmed yesterday from my lawyer. He said that the transcripts should be sealed in the University Envelope and the Degree must be notarised photo copy.
