Hi Everbody,

We are currently going through the paperwork motion with our federal skilled worker application from the UK to Canada.

I'm really confused about which documents need to be notarized, like one check-list states that "all documents to be notarized" but then another checklist states "contract of UK employments / professional qualifications to be notarized Huh

If we are to notarize ALL our documents, we are gonna need a bank loan!! As there's passport copies, birth certificates, marriage certs, qualifications, work references, bank statements, etc etc etc !!!

Any information would be greatly received.

Write soon, we are booking our notary appointment in the morning - paperwork to be despatched to CIC next week!!

 Huh

My advise to you is to take a photocopy of each document that needs to be notarised
birth certs
passports
reference letters
marriage certs
bank statements (for proof of funds)
employment contracts
basically everything except IELTS and PCC as they have to be orginals
put the photocopies in one pile and put the originals in the same order as the photocopies it saves a lot of hassle
Shop around, we were able to find one that did all our documents for a set fee, and I know others in the forum have been able to do the same

Hi

I'm from UK, I applied under NOC code 1122.

The documents I got notarized where:

Birth Certificates
Passports
Degree Certificate
GNVQ Certificate

The documents I didnt get notarised where:

Bank Statements etc (as these where on headed paper and signed by a bank employee)
Employment Contract (alreay signed and stamped by HR)
Reference Letter (as this was an original as stated).

All other documents should be originals. I got mine done free of charge at a solicitors.

Good luck!

Hi PPM Smiley
i think on the website it says 12 years AND at least one year certificate to get 12 points.
in my case i have 10 years PLUS 2 years certificate which is give a total of 12 years so do you think i will get 12 points or maybe less?

please help me with this confusion

Best way to know which doc's need to be notarized is by contacing CANADA HIGH COMMISSION,LONDON !
They will let u know in detail which doc's are needed and how n when to get them notarized !
