I HAVE HEARD that there is demand for doctors in ALBERTA and its population density is less too. will filling ALBERTA or any similar city in PR form enhance the processing?

Hi qorax,
As you have said, the step 2 is in the hand of POE officer. Is there any chance for rejection at this stage? Is it possible that they will not allow us to enter in CANADA?
Because I will left my job in next month and move to CANADA in 5th March.

Remember, the majority part of our case processing rests with b/ground & security checks. Thus, if it's a smooth case [read: less papers/headache to scrutinize], we get done with faster. Else, anything between 12-21 months would it take. I have read/heard that 21 months is the final timeframe for CSIS checks.

Because I will left my job in next month and move to CANADA in 5th March. The IO at POE is mostly concerned with medical inadmissibilty, correctness of the papers at hand & POF. Thus, most likely one wouldn't get 'rejected' at landing.

Bro, u can go anywhere. It's personal choice. 'Lots' of relatives could be a good decider for Vancouver, as I guess some of them could be able to support u, if not financially, at least morally/socially.

To go to Canada as a tourist yes, this is possible anytime. But to go there as an FSW immigrant, this is not possible with you this time because your proffession is not eligible for processing under the new rules.

THANKS QORAX, Another big problem of the old applicants.Hope to be clarify by you I would like to request/invite you(Qorax) and other seniors to kindly throw some light on the following question which particularly belongs to old applicants(applied before 27th Feb,2008) on this post or at the post belongs to old applicants : http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/all-those-applicants-applied-under-old-systembefore-feb2008-t35568.45.html1. Why the processing of old applicants cases are pursuing in a very slow speed, after Jan,2009,even I guessed it has been be halted for some time. 2. Even the applicants(of 2004) who had send their update letter in the year 2008 has not receive medical request. 3. ]Most Important question,When will the applicants of 2005,2006 and 2007 hopefully will be able to recieve their update letter. If possible please describe country wise, like New Delhi, Pakistan, nigeria, london etc[4.Any other comments or suggestion. Regards! Your Younger brother Rimjim

Regards! Your Younger brother Rimjim Hi Rimjim, Genuinely, answer to your query no one knows. I'm an 'old case' applicant as well & I know from experience that we are the 'Garbage Lot'. Our Queue is far longer than the present 'fast track' ones & all CHCs are more onto the new cases, while the older lot rots. Probably, due to the sheer nature of its backlog. A CHC wise timeline study is only possible thru Ttrackitt.com. And no other choice is available as of date. However, some CHCs are processing these old cases a tad better [faster], eg. London [Jul-Sep 2007 guys are on their meds stage], whereas Buffalo seems the slowest. But, I'm sure it's due to the heavy demand on these CHCs that they just cannot perform any faster. All said, we just need to have patience [though a tough call] & keep our prayers on... our days shall come... soon. All the best, buddy ! Qorax

Finally any prefered city for accountants? Ditto... a regulated profession. U need to do GCA, Canadian CMA & the like to be employed in your profession. That'd also take u about 4 yrs. [I'm not sure of the timeframe though], but it'll be a considerable one. Till then, the other vocations are the only resort, I guess. Qorax
