Where to submit application

Hi,
I'm applying under PNP skilled workers from the Philippines. I got nominated but....
I'm now here in Canada, but my kids are in the Philippines (alone) with the grandparents, since I'm a single mother.
Do I apply to Buffalo? It would be difficult for me to get a visa to the US much less my kids to receive our PR visa and enter Canada.
Would Buffalo send the Visa to my kids in Manila? Or should I send my applications to Manila?
I believe they need to do their medicals there in Manila.
Is anyone in the same situation?

Hi, my husband is also A BC PNP and we are now on the PR process and just finished our medicals. My husband is in Canada and we are here in the Philippines, we applied in Buffalo and the medical request was sent to himand he just forwarded the forms here for our medicals, its also the same thing with the passport, we send it to him and he will be the one to send it to Buffalo then afterwards he will return it back to us. That would be the process.
You can send your application to either Buffalo or Manila. but i suggest that you send your application to Buffalo as CIC Manila has a slow processing time.

We are under BC PNP.
Heres our timeline:
Nov 2008 - Applied for BC PNp
April 1009 - Got Nomination
May 2009 - Sent application to CIC
July 17 - Got AOR and medical request
July 29 - File transferred to Seattle
Aug 12 - Medicals reached Ottawa
Still waiting up to now, no update yet on ecas, still it shows "in process"
