Where to send study visa application?

Hello, my name is Iordan.

I was just accepted to attend the University of New Brunswick and am uncertain where to send my application for a study visa. I am a citizen of Bulgaria but have been living in Phoenix, Arizona for the past 10 years. I came with my parents and we have a pending immigration case so I am not a permanent resident or a citizen.
Should I send my visa application to the office in Los Angeles or do I have to send it to the country of my citizenship?

If you are not a Permanent Residence of USA then you should apply from your Country of Origin. Before you take this step, try to get in touch with Immigration office, where this case is still pending. And explain your situation for Visa. Normally, you must be having an ID for USA.

Hi,

1. If you have a 'valid visa status' in US, you can apply within US.

2. In cases like yours, the big problem comes in proving the 'level of establishment/family tie' to your country of residence, (not country of citizenship). You better decide from where you prove/show it: USA or Bulgaria.


I quote;

-If there is any wrong issue with your visa status in US, you better forget applying with in US.

I came with my parents when I was 16. My father is the main applicant in a political asylum immigration hearing. Due to my age and relationship, I am attached to his case. The 9th Circuit Court of Appeals is currently reviewing an appeal filed by his lawyer.
I am married to a US citizen but am still attached to my father's asylum case because it has not been finalized.
I thought that I might have to go back to Bulgaria but wanted to check if there were any alternative options that would cause less hassle since I am already in America.

1. Your status is still not clear in US, most likely chances are almost no in case you apply with in US.

2. In case you apply from Bulgaria, how will you prove/show your level of establishment/family tie to Bulgaria since you have already spent so many years in USA.

1. Since when you are married to American Citizen ?
2. When your Father applied for Immigration, you were minor.
3. Now you are married and Adult, situation changed.
4. What your Husband does ?
5. Does he own anything in USA ?

I have been married to my wife for 2 years. I was 16 when I came to America with my parents. I am still attached to a "pending immigration proceeding" with my parents, even though I am married, because my parents' case has not been finalized.
My status in America is strange; I am legal for the duration of the immigration proceeding but I am not a resident since the case is not finished.
My wife and I work. She does not own anything.

I will probably go back to Bulgaria so that I can apply for a study visa from there.

2. Your wife is American, is she American by birth ?

3. You and your wife work . Both of you get salary slip, do you pay taxes in USA ?

4. Your Parents own anything (property or apartment)  in their Country of Origin ?
