I am a Canadian Citizen sponsoring my husband who is from Portugal. I am living with him in Portugal and so we are considered Out of Country application.

I am reading the Sponsorship guide and it says "You must send your sponsorship application together with the application for immigration of the person you wish to sponsor along with all required documentation to CPC-M" (Mississauga).

I read in another form that the application should be sent to the office in Paris.

Does anyone know where I should send it? Paris or Mississauga?

Thanks in advance

Sponsorship and application to Mississauga with all documents, and a statement as to your plans for employment/school/accommodation when you return to Canada.

Super. Thanks so much. Just one more question regarding the medical.

It is my understanding that as a Spousal Sponsorship that my husband must have his Medical Exam done before we send in the application. Correct? If so, does the Designated MD have the needed forms and fills them out at the appointment? If not, where do I find the forms, as I cannot seem to find them on the website. I did find however on the cic.gc.ca website that "Instructions on how to take the medical examination will normally be sent to you after you submit your application to the visa office".

I also see on the sponsor checklist it says "proof of medical examination for the sponsored person ...IMM 1017" but I cant find the form anywhere.

Thanks again

The DMP has the forums and will complete them.  After the exam the applicant is given a receipt copy of the medicals to include with the application.
