Where to direct correspondence

I received my PER yesterday and they said that all correspondence should be directed to the VO ( Buffalo ) from then on. When exactly would my application be transferred to Buffalo.

The reason y i am asking is that i made a mistake in my application when i sent it in November and need to send the correction with a cover letter. I got my PER yesterday. Now i have a UCI and File number. Should i forward my correction to CIO Canada or to the Visa office ?

Hi,

Since your file is transferred to Buffalo, then it's there where you need to send the correction letter. Buffalo address is stated in the VO specific instruction guide:

If ... Then ...

your address is in the USA send your application by US Mail or commercial courier to: Canadian Consulate General Immigration Regional Program Centre 1 HSBC Center, Suite 3000 Buffalo, NY 14203-2884 U.S.A.

your address is in Canada send your application by Canada Post to: Canadian Consulate General Immigration Regional Program Centre P.O. Box 660 Fort Erie, Ontario L2A 6R6

Note: You may instead choose to send your application directly to the Buffalo address above by mail or by commercial courier.
