Please, can anyone tell me where to call to inquire about landing interview date, I'm a little worried because of the postal strike. My local office is in Montreal, but I can't find out where, is it MICC or CIC?

Don't know much about landing interviews but you could try calling Service Canada at 1 800 622-6232. RedAlert, Did you try the Inland Quebec thread? I would think your landing appointment would have to be set up with the CIC, but I really don't know since I applied outland and am unfamiliar with the inland process. Thank you everyone for answering. Yes, I called CIC call center, the 1-888 number and they told us only that they could not give us the phone number in Montreal but to call them instead once a week to see if there was an interview date on my file. Hmm, not very reassuring but what can we do? Hoping this postal strike won't last all summer :-(

I paid my fees and sent back all the information they requested of me (e.g) pictures... now I am waiting the postal strike in montreal was terrible i am stil receiving mail from since the 27th June... as per letter it said I had to py first before i get my landing interview date...
I am worried also.. please let me know whats up with your letter.

HI, yessssss we finally got news, got a phone call from an Immigration Lady who was very nice, she told us that my husbands photos couldn't be accepted because he is smiling :-(( What can I say, he was very happy on that day! So, we went straight back to the photostudio and got some new pics done and sent them back right away. That was a week ago, credit card has been charged the 490.- fee so everything should be fine. Oh and she also told us, that if we send the new pictures right away, then we would get our landing appointment beginning of September. There is light at the end of this tunnell ;-) RedAlert Hi Red,

Hi, finally the date is here!! Our landing interview is scheduled for August 23, 2011 at Service Canada Center / Montreal.
SM1983: Sorry for not answering, we just had to take a break and stop thinking about this for a while, it was driving us (me) crazy! Loll
