Yup, just up the road!! =)

Wow, your fiance's process was quick!  I bet you're so excited to land, hope you get your wine with your breakfast!! You should buy some at Duty Free just in case and sneak it into a bottle to sip on haha

Jen85 - I hope you get some good news soon!!

I'm kinda lost really - our ecas was updated pretty quickly (when using my huband's (sponsor) details - I'm still not identified apparently haha) They received our application Feb 7th at Miss, Sponsor approved and all forwarded on Mar 4th - my husband got a letter 3 weeks later (thankfully he phoned them to find out the decision so we didn't go insane haha), London received them on Mar 9th and they also updated the medicals have been received...yet...I haven't had a letter to say they received anything...and it's exactly 3 weeks today....maybe I'll just get all the good news at once haha fingers crossed!! I hope ecas can identify me soon!!  Cheesy

We didn't get an acknowledgement from London, just an ecas update and then the PPR email. We were very lucky with how quickly it was done, we have had tremendous luck with everything:-
*My boys were born just before they changed the citizenship rules, so lots less paperwork!!
*Our flat was sold after 1 viewing
*The buyers have bought 90% of our furniture
*They want to complete the sale 3 days before we fly
*My fella's company have given him some consultancy work for the first 3 months that we are in Canada
*My brother-in-law has found a potential job for him 10 minutes up the road from where we plan to live
*The house that we fell in love with 18months ago is now being built on a new development up the road from my sister and her family!!
*And, of course, in 7 weeks we'll be living in Canada!!! WooHoo!

I think I am one of the luckiest people alive!!

I live in the very beautiful peaceful mountain town of Nelson, BC. My wife will be immigrating from Bahia Brazil.

Nelson is where we are going too.

I'm from a small village on the South East coast of England and my husband was born and raised in Vancouver, BC.  Together we have lived in a few cities in the Greater Vancouver area haha Langley, Burnaby, Surrey, Vancouver, North Vancouver and we currently have an apartment in Coquitlam, which we both love, but to settle down and start a family, we want to move back to North Vancouver as we both loved it there and felt at home.  I am currently back in the UK while PR is being processed...my husband is looking after things in Coquitlam.  It's going to be so worth it!  Cheesy

Coquitlam is so lovely, my husband has relatives there and we've visited a few times. That would also be an option if Calgary didn't work out for us.
