Hi friends,
i submitted my application in March 2007 and got file no in July 2007. last document submitted in Feb 2010 and since then security checks are underway, get no reply on emails and Case Specific forms. Please tell me what should i do to speed up this??

July 2006 applicant. Medical, police check done August 2009. Medical done, proof of funds sent Dec 2010. Still waiting. To add- I studied in Canada too. So frustrating!!! Taking a SUCH A LONG TIME.  |

Hi,
I got my file no in Mar-2006 and when I asked my agency they told me that old files are not being processed by CHC.How you got the information that Jun-2005 FILES ARE UNDER PROCESS.

Frnds, i had applied CIC New Delhi in NOV 2005 & file number was generated in FEB 2006 under old system, I had also filed all the documents while filing Premanent Immigratation Skilled Worker Category. In JAN 2009, i had recd a letter from Canadian Embassy informing about the starting process of my file but later since then i have recd no communication from CIC New Delhi.
Moreover i have heard that PR filed in period JUN 2005 are under process at the moment, so my file will take some 12 months more...
Can anyone advise about the latest status plaese?

We both are in the same basket, i had also filed my PR file in NOV 2005 and got file number in FEB 2006, i too received a letter from CIC New Delhi about the processing of my file but later no communication is received from them. Happy to read that they are processing JULY 2005 cases, from where did you came to know about this?

But you can also withdraw to get back your application fee. There is no restriction in applying under the old system. I used to apply under the old system but really got frustrated with its timeline, I have applied wth the new system and sent the application January 2010. Now am just waitinf for my Visa. Hope this helps. |

Same of all you I'm 2007 applicants, I had received my file number on April 2007 until now no any update from Manila office.
Hopefully before the end of this year or early next year they will send me good news..keep on praying guys..it will come in our ways!

Count me as one of the June 2007 applicants (sent to the Sydney office in Australia). To date, it just says 'in process' online. As far as correspondence, the only thing I've gotten from them (other than acknowledging my change of address), was a letter late 2008 saying they hope to start processing the applications from 2006 in 2009 and asking if I wanted to withdraw. This is rather frustrating as my current (and final since I'm over the age now) WHP from Australia expires next May. I currently have a permanent fulltime job in BC but, as HRSDC rejected my workplace's LMO, I don't think I can apply for a work permit to extend my stay |
