Where are 2006 and 2007 Applicants?

Yes, I've written them many times and they do reply that my application is in a queue for a final review by IO. Last time in Dec 2009 I got the following reply "However, we do not anticipate to finalize your case until early 2010". I'm not sure whether the EARLY 2010 means March, April or even May?
 

Early 2010 may stretch till the month of May.The good thing is that,the CIC gave clues as to when your case might actually be decided.Give it like 2 or 3 more months of waiting and your visas will arrive.By the way what is your Ecas reading? Mine changed from 5 then 8 & currently it's 12.I am not sure what's the next code going to be.

If I wait till March-May, my medicals will expire. So I would need to go for another med. exams.  I don't want to spend more money. It's quite expensive in Mongolia. Currently my code is same as yours, 12. Next  should be 13 as I was told by others, who alrefady got their visas.

Frnds, i had applied CIC New Delhi in NOV 2005 & file number was generated in FEB 2006 under old system, I had also filed all the documents while filing Premanent Immigratation Skilled Worker Category. In JAN 2009, i had recd a letter from Canadian Embassy informing about the starting process of my file but later since then i have recd no communication from CIC New Delhi.

Moreover i have heard that PR filed in period JUN 2005 are under process at the moment, so my file will take some 12 months more...

Can anyone advise about the latest status plaese?

I think the code is different from office to office. I mean, Beijing immigration office's e-case terminology might be different from your immigration office where you've applied.Perhaps, senior members can provide us more details.

I got my File no in June 2006 from New Delhi office. Till date there are no updates. From forum posts it appears that the CHS is now processing 2005 cases. So when my case will be considered ?

Application sent in November 2006, AOR February 2007.  Not heard anything since from the CHC Nairobi (not even the letter asking if i'm still interested).  Any news?

CIC's main ideas behind post Feb 27, 2008 system were:
1. To reduce the back log of applications. Those old applicants whose occupation falls under ministirial list would definitly withdraw their old applications and would reapply under fast track triggering an automatic reduction in backlog.
2. To serve the Canadian labor market requirement as per ministerial list.

Good news for 06-07 applicants,
Minister kenney promised to finish the backlog of applicants who applied under old system.
it was decided in 2010 immigration plan

Its really good to know..... lets pray for its actual happening..
