When to expect to receive anything after application submitted to CIO?
«

I submitted my initial application (skilled workers) to Centralized Intake Office at Sydney 6 weeks ago and I have not heard anything back yet. The check I sent along with the application is not cashed out yet.
I am concerned and not sure what could have happened. I sent the mail by Priority Mail and I start to worry if the mail has ever been received.
I reside in U.S now. Can anybody give me an idea when I can expect to receive any feedback?
Thank you,

do check with the mail office to confirm if your application documents have been delivered. If it has, then be patient for them to contact you either through the mail address you provided or your mailing address.

6231 is not there in the list of 38 occupations. I am sure they are not going to approve your application.

ok.. 6241 is present in the 38 occupations. so now you just have to wait. or you can try your luck with the CIO call center.
try to see if there is any other topic where May month filers are writing their status. if anyone has got the reply from CIO, you can get some details from them.

I have not tried calling them. so not sure if they would ask for the File number.
