When passport is stamed with visa

Hi all just get ahead of myself here but how long do they give you once Visa is stamped in you passport as we have a condo to sell and my husband needs to give at least a months notice to his work thank you again for all your help

it depends on the time your medicals were done - usually visa is issued up to the last day medicals are valid
