Boncuk, you said that the police clearance from my home country is valid for 3 month, ...hope they won't ask me for third one, cause I have sent them a new one along with my second medical exam in february...a third police clearance, that will be a nice joke...:)) thank God that police clearance is THE ONLY free od charge paper in lebanon.
But as I knew, the FBI and state police are valid for 6 month, right, so how come the home country police clearance is valid for 3 month only, it is too little.

I've heard varying information on how long they are valid for. But one thing is definite...CIC need to receive it within 3 months of it being issued. So it may well last longer (my application took 9 months, yet my police certificate from Australia and the one from the UK didn't have to be redone), but if it's more than 3 months old when they receive it, it won't be valid.

Yeah I agree it varies once again by office. Most of the certificates say 6 months the FBI one 1 year but its up to CIC discretion to request a new one.
Rorita I certainly hope they dont ask you for another one! They've dangled you enough!

For sure they are going to ask my husband by the end of the process. I received it in March so definitely they will ask for another one by the end of the process.

You are right Boncuk, ..:) they have dangled me a lot.
I was talking to my husband today, and told him, from my point of view, my experience in immigration issues, witch by the way took all from this great forum, they should not ask for anything else anymore.
I am ready to have the passport letter request...:) hopefuly they are ready to issue it...:)

still waiting for someone who is dealing with Canadian Embassy Ankara location ) couse everybody says that its about 6 weeks but its been 10 week s already but no news yet ( please anybody

yes i did couple no answer, i called them but receiptionist so rude she says that no calls only e-mail or fax, which i did,,and what is AOR dear ?
