You should have got it in a few weeks after the line

"Your application was reviewed and we started processing on XXXXXX"!

Havent you enquired the VO about it already ? What have you been doing for more than a year now ?

This is in response to your letter on 05/05/2011 regarding your application for permanent residence to Canada.

Please be advised that the file is currently pending the review of an officer.  We will contact you once the review has been completed.
I couldn't understand what they are doing....
I am so frustrated......

Hello
your timelines are the same as my T.L with a little changes and we have the same NOC i-e 4131
But i have submited an updated forms along with police certificate for me and my spouse, as required by the VO in July 2011, and then i asked VO to tell me about the curreent status of my application. the VO replied that, your file is currently undergoing routine background checks. We are unable to advise when these checks will be completed, however we will contact you as soon as the results for background checks are received.
I suggest you to contact the VO and ask about the current status of your file.
Regards,

Your case is similiar to other pre-june applicants who applied around the same time as you. As with all pre-June applicants the VO has placed you on a slow moving que but it is not the slowest and applicants of 1st half of 2009 have received their MR. I believe that your case is almost due for review, the VO might ask for additional or updated info and PCC or will send your MR and RPRF request. In any case, you should expect your case to be completed before June 2012.

Good Luck!

Hello i am not agree with mandiebraxton !
Because when you submit all the required doc to the VO. your file once again will be reviewed by the V.officer and if all things is in order then your file will under go for B/G checks which will take about 4 to 6 months
