When do he has to leave

There is a friend asking my what is the period of time that he is suppose to leave Canada, since the immigration officer stamped his visa and wrote the following "
V 26JN2012
"
Somebody knows what that means??... I have no idea and in the internet says it might be June...
He entered the country on December 26 of 2011..
HELP...
