hi all

i asked about this before. i thought i had it straight, then later realized i didn't--

on the sponsor questionnaire, pg 2, question 9, it says

"Are you a naturalized Canadian or permanent resident of Canada?"

I was born a Canadian citizen. Isn't this different from being naturalized? Shouldn't I say "no"? If I say "no," will they understand that I was born a citizen?

Hi,
A naturalized citizen is a person who does not receive citizenship through birth. To make it more clear,
naturalized means you started out as a citizen of some other country and have gone through a legal process and gained citizenship. Natural-born means you were a citizen from birth.

In your case answer should be  "NO".
