Is there a certain date before your studies commence you can enter Canada?  How long before it starts can you go over, 2 weeks, a month, 2 months etc etc?? Does it say on your study permit letter?

Thanks for your help

There is really no limit of when you can enter Canada so far as you have your visa issued. You can move the same day so far as you have your visa.

Usually a visa is not issued a month before the commencement of classes.

Hi !

I' spent a year in Canada for a student exchange program in the Ottawa University and I think you could find some useful information about student visas on: http://www.gullivearth.com/en/guide/read/1184/administrative-approach-in-canada.

Good luck Smiley
