What's the waiting time in UK after having medical's?

Took medicals on 19th of January 07, here in London, UK. What is the next step and what's the estimated time before I receive my visa?
I have both US and UK passport. Does it matter, which passport I use to enter Canada? Gave my UK passport when I took my medicals
