Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question. I'm just starting our appeal myself.
Would you mind sharing with me your time line, as in:
-When did you request your appeal?
-Where did your file come from and when did it arrive in Canada?
-When did you receive notice that you've been approved for an ADR?

I'm so curious about what others are going through.

Thanks so much.

Didn't even know they had an IAD in Ottawa.  Geez, we waited a year for the ADR hearing through the IAD in Toronto, and when that failed it was another 13 months before we had a full hearing.  I'd have been thrilled with a 3 month timeline.  Count your blessings.

Wow.
I'm continuously amazed about the length of time immigration can take. There really ought to be an inquiry into whether or not it's justifiable.

This ordeal has screwed up my whole life. If I knew three years ago I would be where I was because of it, I would have made different decisions.

RobsLuv   By the time I have my ADR it will be 1 year and 2 months of waiting, I appealed in March 2011 I'm complaining because it's 3 more months from now

inlimbo  I absolutely agree with you, nobody understand the pain we are going through. I remember when Harper came to power he cut landing fee in half because apparently they were making money of it, why didn't he then just hire more people to make everything faster I wouldn't care if it cost $500 more to be with your loved one sooner
