What's the maximum time to get the result of the LMO application?

It depends on the province but it typically takes about 6 weeks on average, give or take a couple of weeks.

Thanks for the response. My employer applied for an LMO in Alberta and it's been 7 weeks now and we still don't have the result.

Hi,

My employer in Alberta also applied for my LMO the start of April and still have not received any feedback, not sure if I should give up hope. However a friend has told me that the Alberta LMO's could take anything between 2 weeks to 5 months. I just hope that both ours wont take that long. All the best

5 months?  wow. If you don't mind me asking, did you also applied for a cashier position in Alberta? My employer also applied for an LMO 2nd week of April and we still don't have the result.
