Oh brothers

I'm fed up with waiting. I have applied for this way back in July 2008. Frist my status changed from received to "Application Received". Then Status changed to "Federal skilled Worker submitted to Sydney, Nova Scotia". that 7 months back. Then after it again changed to "Application Received" 2-3 months. I don't understand whats happening. They say under this new Assessment criteria application be processed in 6-12 months. What i don't understand is  after even 15 months they are still holding it. I have good  5+ years experience as a Software Engineer. An also Bsc Degree.

Please let me know what you all think on this. Im from Sri lanka.

Machan Widura, whats the last document u got from them? u better make a call to CHC and see.

I still haven't heard any news...but the deadline is october 30 so waiting until then. My lawyer said if I don't hear anything, then he will contact the visa office on my behalf and see what is going on with my case.

I haven't got any document since i have submitted the documents to the Canadian high Commission (July 2008). details i have posted in the forum, are the details that i got from the CIC online services. Still cant understand whets going on. Do you think will i be able to get details from the Canadian High commission in sri lanka in this consent? Tell me your prospective. Any good advice is a great help.
