whats the diff family class/ canada class

im canadian born sponsoring my spouse. she lives in US and were going through the out bound way for it is faster than the in bound.

i know this is a simple question but i just want to make sure im filling out these forms correctly.

what is family class?

what is canada class?

im filling out the  "Medical Report: Section A - EDE /EFE SPOUSE OR COMMON-LAW PARTNER IN CANADA CLASS" and i got stumped for im going through the family class.

do i also need to have her police background check?

Family class is for sponsoring members of your family - spouses, children and parents.

If you are applying Outland, you are filling in the WRONG forms.  The Spouse/Partner In Canada Class is for Inland sponsorships.

And yes, she needs to apply for her FBI clearance certificate, it's taking about 4 weeks nowadays, don't be scared by the 12-16 weeks timeline on the FBI website.

ok that answers my question.

so for outbound i have filled out these forms that i have DL from the CIC site. am i missing any other forms. do i need a med report from her doc in US??

sponsorship agreement
spouse/common law questionnaire

She needs to fill out the applicant's forms.  And yes, she has to submit the medical and police clearance. 

1. Application for PR
2. schedule 1/Background declaration
3.Additional Family Info
4. Sponsored Spouse Questionnaire
5. Region specific form for US

The Region Specific form will give her details about doing the medical.  This can only be done by a Designated Medical Practitioner.

Remember, everything for the application (sponsor's documents, applicant's documents, relationship proofs) should be submitted together.
