Hi can anyone inform me why the delay is taking place for me. I filed my application last year in July got a response that my papers are being processed. The last I heard from them was in march 31- that mentioned that my papers have been sent for processing. After that no news at all. Is it just me or anyone else getting delayed for so long. Isn't this supposed be be on a `Fast- track'?

Hi i am also in the same situation even though from another visa office, my has been in process since June 2010 and yet no communication from them till today. I am really in patient now. Please let us keep updating to know what is happening to our applications. Thanks Canadforall. |

Thx Shibleebd- I can see your situation too and am taking hope from there. Its just that I wish the authorities would inform us how long we have to wait even if its 2 yrs. That way atleast we are prepared and can plan our lives. Right now, I'm hanging..

Yes Aroon 7 Letting us know what is happening is better than just be silent. One friend of mine was waiting and waiting with no communication and it was sent and it got missing in the mail and she only got a refusal , but she explained and was re considered. So communication is better so that you know all is ok and you can wait. We are just at their mercy. Canadaforall. |

What's ur ecas status ?
My own e.cas still shows the same old information from Nova Scotia, but my file is in process. Should i inform them about the E.cas thing or should just continue to wait. Waiting for a suggestion. Canadaforall. |

Dear...my e-cas never changed since Aug 2009 till i got the visa in Aug 2010. Though the process was on. Even meds done, passport submission. Funny thing is my e-cas did not change at all but after one week of visa stamping only  So don't worry...ecas is not true picture of your case status. Again to say, stay calm and wait. regards |
