What's next - confusion?

Hi guys,

So I've been looking on trackitt and realize that there are a wide variety of cases for people - in terms of how long it takes to get their AOR, medical request and IA.

Anyways, so I applied on Sept 7, 2011 (that's when I sent it in). It arrived there on the 9th (Friday evening) and I'm guessing it wasn't looked at, until Monday Sept 12 - so let's count that as Day 1.

I checked with the bank in the third week of September and they said the draft had been cashed. What does that mean? Does it mean that everything was in order? I have no idea.....

Next, when can you expect to receive something from the visa office?
I have checked on e-CAS and nothing has shown up. It just gives me the generic "Your file may does not exist" information. I.e. they haven't put it into the system yet?

I'm kinda getting worried - any thoughts or suggestions?

Why you need to be confused ? You are ottawaresident already !!

Anyway, just wait for another 3 to 4 weeks to update ur status in E-cas. You might get your AOR even by this time.

ottawaResident, I don't think you have anything to worry about, I had to wait 4 months to hear anything from Buffalo, I am in my 13th month since I applied and my case still in process.....

when you have average time for any apllication [ 14 months] you should not worry......!!!!

if something happens earlier you are lucky..........!!

Thanks guys. I guess worried is quite the understatement.

What my logic was --> draft cashed --> then why hasn't anything been done on eCAS --> because I thought the officers take notes (CAIPS) and generate a file for you. There is no file that has been generated at all.

Then I look at other people on trackitt and they submitted it after me and already have an AOR...uggh...i need to learn how to be patient

when they open application pack they must submit the draft in bank.........!!

then they will review the application carefully and decide whether it is complete or not............!!

if everything is ok then they put it on ecas otheriwse they will send it back along with refund......!!

so dont think negetively and hope for the good......!!

time its own say on it....................!!!!

I am little short on 13th month too. Salmtzo, did you receive any update? Can you please share your timeline?
