What visa type will be issued to my family if I am work permit visa holder?

I did not find specific info at cic.gc.ca.

1) If I am a work permit holder ( and will bring my family with to Ontario), what visa type I should be apply with immigration Canada for my family?
2) We are planning to come separately as would like to make settlement  arrangements before prior their arrival. Is there any time frame to enter Canada for them once their visa is issued?
