Thanks , i got the idea.

Dear leo1234,

If I am in your shoes, I will select the profession first (which I prefer) and then get the experience letter accordingly.

You need to be diplomatic while getting experience letter from your company.

If I am able to achieve 4 years as "Project Manager" I will ask the company to give me experience letter as Project Manager bcoz I have worked earlier for that. Similarly If I want Sales Manager as profession, I will act accordingly.

Regards
Cool

Sorry to say.... what if the Boss/Manager is an a s s h o l e and doesnt care about the importance of the experience letter???
Will the visa officer consider if the company is not willing to give the letter? Unless you prove with your bank statement that you worked for the company.

Hi nicholas,

If your boss is asshole , no problem......try to get an email or confirmation that they cannot provide experience letter. If that also he is not bothered to give....no problem...Just try to have your old documents such as appointment letter, salary pay slips, or employee ID, etc to prove your employment.
Even your old contract will also be helpful.

If nothing is available, write an explanation letter to VO explaining the situation with decent language.
Try to keep your documents organized and make it smooth presentation.
