It looks like they like our applications and they want to keep them as long as possible! Personally, I can not fine a reasonable reason why it is taking this long.

Don´t be impatient, I´m waiting now since March 2007 and in July 2009 I was asked to send in our documents,which I did in the middle of October, and a week ago I recieved an E-Mail for some further information. So things take time if you applied under the old regulations. And believe me we are also getting very impatient. By the way I applied in Berlin.

I applied through the provincial nominee program and they started processing on Jan 2008, the old regulations only apply to people who apply through the fedral process.

I know a friend who applied since Nov 2005 in Nigeria and up till date is yet to hear from the Embassy. All they sent him in 2006 was just his file number. Im wondering what could be going on as well.

I think our fault is that we have applied before the publication of new ammendments. But i do not understand why they have demanded full application and after receiving it no response further..... i m thinking it to apply again by sending application to NS. In that case my earlier paid fee will be lapsed as the case is in-process. should i , please comment? Some of my friends who had applied in 2006 and not getting any movement, applied again to NS in july 2009 and received their medical request. i m in big dilemma what they have planned for 2008 applicants. |

I consult my consultant he responded that its in progress. But no one has answer how long will it take as its now 16 months i am waiting since june 2008 with all my document sent.
If i withdraw and reapply, i can't assemble all those documents again.
