What shall I do? Please help

Dear All,

My husband has applied for a canadian visa on Fev 2003, we weren't married that time. Then on November 2005 we got married however my husband didn't inform the lawer about his marital status because he lost all the contact.
The problem now is that 2 days ago he recieved an invitation for an interview in the Canadian Embassy .
So we don't know what to do now, should I prepare all my pepare and attand the interview with him even if his application shows that he is single? or it's better for him to go alone? Please advice me about what will happen in both cases and what are the questions they ask in these kind of interviews.
